Configuring Your AI Assistant

Accessing the Settings Page​

To configure your AI assistant, follow these steps to access the settings page:

  1. Log in to Your AI SmartTalk Account:

  2. Navigate to the List of Chatbots:

    • In your dashboard, you will see a list of available chatbots. Click on the chatbot you want to administer.

  3. Access the Settings:

    • Desktop View: On the chatbot page, use the horizontal menu to navigate to the settings section.
    • Mobile View: On mobile, use the burger menu to access the settings section.

Name and Avatar​

Choosing a Name​

  • Choose a name that reflects the function or personality you want to give to your assistant.

Customizing the Appearance​

  • Upload a profile picture by clicking on the default avatar (the circle with your assistant's initial) and selecting an image of your choice. This image will help give your AI assistant a unique visual identity.

Biography​

Importance of the Biography​

  • The biography helps define the tone and personality of your AI assistant and impacts generative AI by providing hints on the type of language and vocabulary to use.

  • A well-written biography helps the AI understand the approach it should take, whether professional, friendly, technical, or other.

Examples of Biographies for Different Domains​

Fitness​

“Hi athletes! 🏋️‍♀️ I’m here to help you achieve your fitness goals. Ask me questions about exercises, nutrition, and more! 💪 I use fitness emojis and a relaxed tone.”

E-commerce​

“Welcome to our online store! 🛒 I’m here to help you find the best deals and available products. Feel free to ask me for advice! I adopt a friendly tone and use emojis to create a welcoming atmosphere.”

Real Estate​

“Hello! 🏠 I’m your virtual real estate advisor. I’m here to answer all your questions about our listings and help you find your dream home. I use a professional and warm tone, with emojis to humanize interactions.”

  • Emojis can personalize the user experience by adding a touch of personality and emotion to conversations, making interactions more engaging.

  • Don't forget to click the “Update” button to save your changes.
