AI Model
The AI Model page lets you choose which artificial intelligence powers your assistant. AI SmartTalk automatically configures the best models for your use case, but you can customize them if needed.
Available Model Types
| Model Type | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Conversation Model | The main AI that understands and responds to messages |
| Knowledge Search Model | Finds relevant information in your knowledge base |
| Voice Models | Converts speech to text and text to speech (for voice features) |
| Vision Models | Analyzes images shared in conversations |
Choosing a Conversation Model
You can choose from:
- Sovereign models (hosted in EU) — Qwen, Llama, Mistral
- OpenAI models — GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, GPT-4.1 mini
- Other providers — Claude, and more
Each model shows:
- Cost multiplier — How it affects your credits (e.g., ×0.15, ×0.40)
- Availability — Some models may be temporarily unavailable
- Region badge — EU for European-hosted models
Default Configuration
AI SmartTalk automatically selects the best balance of:
- Quality — How well the AI understands and responds
- Speed — How fast responses are generated
- Cost — How many credits each response uses
Tip: Most users don't need to change these settings. The defaults work great for most use cases.
User Feedback
The User Feedback page shows how users rate your AI's responses.
How It Works
When your chatbot is integrated on your website (WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla, Webflow, or any website) with feedback mode enabled, users can:
- Rate responses — Thumbs up or thumbs down after each AI message
- Add comments — Optionally explain why they rated that way
Feedback Dashboard
The feedback page displays:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Feedback | Total number of ratings received |
| Positive | Thumbs up count |
| Negative | Thumbs down count |
| With Notes | Feedback with written comments |
| Pending | Feedback awaiting review |
Using Feedback to Improve
- Review negative feedback — Identify gaps in your knowledge base
- Check positive patterns — Understand what your AI does well
- Filter by type/status — Focus on specific issues
- Add to knowledge base — Turn feedback into training data
Enabling Feedback Mode
Feedback mode is enabled by default for web integrations. You can toggle it in:
- Customization → Theme for the web widget
- Individual channel settings for other platforms
Learned Models
Train custom behaviors and responses for specific scenarios. This advanced feature lets you fine-tune how your AI handles particular topics.
Categories
Organize your knowledge base into categories for better AI responses and easier management.

- Enter the URLs where your assistant is authorized (e.g.,
https://yoursite.com) - Prevents unauthorized use of your API
