What is AI SmartTalk?
AI SmartTalk is an all-in-one AI assistant platform that helps businesses automate customer interactions across multiple channels. It combines AI-powered conversations, a visual automation builder (SmartFlow), a knowledge base, forms, scheduling, and analytics — all in a single dashboard.
What channels does AI SmartTalk support?
AI SmartTalk natively supports 7 messaging channels: Web Chat, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Discord, Slack, and Gmail. All channels are included on every plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account gets a 30-day free trial with access to all features, all channels, and all AI models. No credit card required.
How is AI SmartTalk different from other chatbot platforms?
AI SmartTalk is an all-in-one platform — not just a chatbot. It includes native multi-channel support, a visual automation builder, knowledge base with RAG, forms, scheduling, and a unified inbox. Most competitors require you to combine 4-5 separate tools to get the same capabilities.
What languages does AI SmartTalk support?
AI SmartTalk supports 25+ languages automatically. Your AI responds in the customer's language without additional configuration.
Integrations
Are all integrations native?
Yes. Every integration in AI SmartTalk is built directly into the platform. There is no need for Zapier, Make, or any third-party middleware. Channels connect via OAuth or API keys, and data connectors sync directly with your knowledge base.
Do I need Zapier or any middleware?
No. All channels and data connectors are native. You connect them directly in the AI SmartTalk dashboard.
Does my knowledge base auto-sync with my website?
Yes. When you connect WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla, or Webflow, your knowledge base updates automatically when you publish or edit content. No manual re-sync needed.
Can I connect multiple data sources?
Yes. You can connect as many data sources as needed — multiple WordPress sites, Google Drive accounts, JIRA projects, etc. All content flows into your unified knowledge base.
What CMS and e-commerce platforms are supported?
WordPress/WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Joomla/HikaShop, Webflow, Docusaurus, and any platform via RSS feed, CSV/URL import, or the REST API.
AI & Intelligence
What AI models are available?
AI SmartTalk offers two categories:
- Sovereign EU models (hosted in France): Qwen, Llama, Mistral
- Proprietary models: GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, GPT-4.1 mini, Claude
All models are available on all plans.
Are there GDPR-compliant AI models?
Yes. Sovereign models (Qwen, Llama, Mistral) are hosted entirely in France. When using these models, no data leaves the EU. This eliminates Schrems II concerns and ensures full GDPR compliance.
How does the knowledge base work?
AI SmartTalk uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). When a customer asks a question, the system searches your knowledge base for relevant content, then passes it to the AI model to generate an accurate, grounded response.
You can train your knowledge base with documents (PDF, DOCX), FAQ imports (Excel, CSV), website auto-sync, product catalogs, and more.
Can I customize the AI's personality?
Yes. The Biography section lets you define your AI's tone, style, approach, and boundaries. You can make it professional, friendly, technical, sales-oriented — whatever fits your brand.
Does the AI remember previous conversations?
Yes. AI SmartTalk maintains context memory across a conversation. The AI remembers what was discussed earlier and uses customer tags, attributes, and observations to provide personalized responses.
Pricing & Billing
How does pricing work?
All features are available on every plan. Plans differ by usage limits (AI tokens, number of assistants, team seats) and support level. No per-channel fees.
What are AI Words / Tokens?
Tokens are the unit of AI usage — roughly equivalent to word fragments. They are consumed when your AI responds to messages, executes SmartFlow AI actions, processes documents, or uses voice features. Different AI models consume tokens at different rates.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Subscription page.
Do all plans include all channels?
Yes. All 7 channels (Web Chat, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Discord, Slack, Gmail) are included on every plan, including the free trial.
Is there an Enterprise plan?
Yes. Enterprise plans include dedicated infrastructure, custom AI training, SLA guarantees, on-premises deployment, white-label options, and a dedicated account manager. Contact contact@aismarttalk.tech for details.
Security & Compliance
Is AI SmartTalk GDPR compliant?
Yes. AI SmartTalk implements data minimization, purpose limitation, right to access, right to erasure, and right to portability. A Data Protection Agreement (DPA) is available on request.
Where is my data hosted?
AI SmartTalk infrastructure is hosted in the European Union. Sovereign AI models are hosted in France. When using proprietary models (GPT-4, Claude), message content is sent to the model provider's API for processing.
Is there a way to keep all data in the EU?
Yes. By selecting sovereign AI models (Qwen, Llama, Mistral), all data processing happens in France and no data leaves the EU.
What about the EU AI Act?
AI SmartTalk is designed with the EU AI Act in mind — with transparency (users know they're talking to AI), human oversight (agent takeover), documentation (audit trails), and configurable AI behavior boundaries.
What hosting options are available?
Cloud SaaS (shared, EU-hosted), dedicated instance (isolated), on-premises (your servers), and white-label (rebranded). Dedicated, on-premises, and white-label are available on Enterprise plans.
Automation
What is SmartFlow?
SmartFlow is AI SmartTalk's visual node-based workflow builder. It lets you create automations by dragging nodes onto a canvas and connecting them — without writing code. There are 58 nodes available for triggers, actions, conditions, and integrations.
What can I automate with SmartFlow?
Almost anything:
- Lead capture and qualification
- Cross-channel notifications (Instagram → Slack)
- Community moderation (Discord)
- Scheduled content syncs
- Abandoned cart recovery
- Custom AI behaviors per channel
- Ticket creation (JIRA, ClickUp)

Can SmartFlow trigger actions across channels?
Yes. A SmartFlow can be triggered by a message on one channel and perform actions on another — for example, an Instagram DM can trigger a Slack notification and an email to your team.
Does SmartFlow support webhooks and API calls?
Yes. SmartFlow includes Webhook triggers (receive events from external systems) and API Call actions (send requests to any REST API). You can also use OpenAPI integration to connect any documented API.
Are there pre-built automation templates?
Yes. The Template Store offers pre-built SmartFlow templates that you can install with one click and customize for your needs.

How long does setup take?
Most users have their first AI assistant live in under 10 minutes. Connecting additional channels takes 2-10 minutes each.
Can I have multiple AI assistants?
Yes. Each assistant has its own knowledge base, personality, channels, and SmartFlows. The number of assistants depends on your plan.
