Instagram Direct

Instagram DM is another channel unlocked by the Meta OAuth already performed for Messenger or WhatsApp.

Quick set‑up

Ensure your Instagram profile is a Professional (Business or Creator) account linked to the same Facebook Page you authorised.
Open Canaux → Instagram in AI SmartTalk.
The profile will appear automatically with status Connected.
Test by sending a DM from a personal Instagram account.
The conversation shows up in Chat with the 🄸 Instagram logo.

Do I need a second OAuth ?	No. One Meta OAuth covers the three channels.
Can I disable Instagram only ?	Yes, use the trash icon next to the profile in Canaux → Instagram; Messenger and WhatsApp remain active.
Character limits ?	Instagram DM enforces a 1 000‑character limit per message; AI SmartTalk automatically splits longer replies.
