One OAuth click connects Messenger + Instagram
Connect it
If you haven't done the Meta OAuth yet:
- Go to Integrations → Messenger (or Instagram, same flow).
- Sign into Facebook and approve the scopes.
- Pick which Instagram business account the assistant should answer for.
That's it. Replies start coming on the next DM.
Already done it for Messenger? You don't have to do it again. Open the Instagram integration page and pick the account.
What it can do on Instagram
- Reply to DMs with text, emoji, links, and images
- Typing indicator + read receipts (just like a human would)
- Auto-detect the customer's language
Every DM lands in the Inbox, tagged with the Instagram icon.
Requirements
- An Instagram Business account (not a personal account — switch in the Instagram app under Settings → Account type)
- The business account must be linked to a Facebook page (Instagram requires this for messaging APIs — Instagram's rule, not ours)
- You're a Facebook page admin
